White Rose Maze and String Adventure Course

White Rose 2012 will offer an orienteering adventure for youngsters that will be more than “just a string course”

As well as providing a “proper” map, “proper” controls and “proper” SI punching, we hope to incorporate a spectator maze built into the usual string course format.

There will be two different courses available on Saturday and Sunday morning from 1030 to 1300hrs

Whilst details of the format are still being finalised, the main features of the course each day will be as follows:

  • A specially drawn colour map will be provided – to normal O-mapping standards and colours.  Here is one of last years maps.
  • SI punching will be used.  You can use any SI dibber (including one used on other courses on the same day) or we will lend you one free of charge.
  • Free entry
  • Prizes for all finishers

The White Rose String course can be only entered on the day.
