As in the last two years, we will provide a free Pace and Bearing competition in the assembly area, from Saturday morning to Sunday lunchtime.
Register at enquiries, where you will be given a marker stick along with instructions on the location of the start, the bearing and distance. Fix your marker in the ground.
Last year, Pam Hemingway of WAOC managed to get within 270mm of the measured location.
No fancy equipment permitted – just a compass and your legs!
Steve Corrigan will determine the location as precisely as possible at 1500hrs on Sunday.
