White Rose Sprint Race

An informal sprint event will be organised on Friday evening 24th August 2012 with start times from 1800hrs to 1900hrs. No fixed start times – register in the marquee (if not pre-entered) and then just turn up and go.  If there is a demand for it, we will

continue the race on Saturday early afternoon for the benefit of late arrivals.

The format will be a micro-sprint in a small complex area of forest that is not being used for the regional events.  Accurate navigation will be essential with winning times below 10 minutes.  Prizes will be available for first three men and first three ladies.

The idea is to provide an additional fun race, and a fun way to blow off the cobwebs after a long journey.
