Blue Flag beaches along the Yorkshire Coast are numerous and include Filey Beach, Scarborough North Bay and Whitby West Cliff Beach.

SCARBOROUGH

Scarborough boasts a fine selection of attractions including acclaimed museums and art

galleries, a historic mini railway and spectacular headland castle, beach bays and watersports especially great surfing opportunities, two golf courses and boat trips.    There are a selection of seaside attractions on the beach including funfair rides, mini golf and amusements.

FILEY

Filey is a traditional English seaside resort with a friendly atmosphere, offering restful ‘get away from it all’ holidays. A fishing town just a few km south of Scarborough, Filey has enjoyed a reputation of being a seaside resort since Victorian days.

From Filey Country Park to the north of the town, you can take the beautiful views of Filey Bay with Filey Brigg to the north and Bempton Cliffs and Flamborough Head further down the coast.
