White Rose Campsite

A key feature of White Rose Weekend is our exclusive orienteers campsite.

The camp-site at White Rose 2012 will be a large grass meadow, away from the road and adjoining the forest.   We are grateful to Alex Smith of Park Farm for his agreement to use this field.

Although sharing the same field, the camping area will be separated from the day car park so that it is a safe place for children of all ages to roam.

Facilities provided at the White Rose camp-site include

• Alfresco Event Catering will, provide a catering service all day – opening times to be confirmed nearer the time
• Fresh clean water supply (Cl₂ level regularly monitored)
• Toilet units in the camping area, as well as in the centre of the assembly
• Waste disposal tank for camper-van and caravan waste
• Information point – with details of local attractions and tourist information
• First aid point (St John Ambulance on Saturday and Sunday) and at the Information point at all other times
• Large marquee available for informal social activities when it is not in use for registration or download
• Barbecue for all on Sunday evening

The camp-site will be open from 1600hrs on Friday until 1600hrs on Monday.  The fee for use of the campsite is:

£5.00 pitch fee plus

£2.50 per person per night. (under 5′s free)

(The pitch fee includes all parking fees for the weekend for one vehicle.)
